Howard A DaCosta is a chief Executive Officer in the business and individual tax small business services in the Brooklyn New York office of USBARE, LLC. He has more than 37 years’ experience in private and public business sector dealing with accounting, audit and tax, including eight years at USBARE, LLC dealing with various businesses and individuals’ tax and accounting entities. Throughout his career he has worked with a multitude of banks and private equity firms, portfolio companies, in all aspect of the ever-changing tax landscape and tax risk management challenges that affect businesses and individuals. He is highly knowledgeable at supporting investment management businesses (both partnership and corporations) with issues compliances, tax issues, and business formations, due diligence and other consulting matters.
At Rastason Consulting Inc Howard is poised to structure his firm and operate as a leading business consulting services firm structured to address a company’s end-to-end needs. The firm will provide comprehensive expert services to support your business. Prior to joining Rastason Consulting Inc., Howard worked for USBARE, LLC, Emigrant Savings Bank in New York City and several other private companies.
In addition to serving clients, Howard has overseen and supervises the functional and technical financial accounting department which includes direction of multiple taxes and reporting projects to the bank CEO’s CFO’s and COO’s; analyzed detail operational requirements. He provided project management tax reporting and work as support to the project team (“Project Team”) as they need to meet reporting deadlines for board meetings each month ensuring that proper tax methodology and compliance standards were maintained.
Howard received a Master in Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting, a Bachelor’s in Science (BS) in Accounting, Bachelor’s in Business Administration (BBA) in Entrepreneurial Management, Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Accounting, and Certificate in Commercial Real Estate with focus and emphasis on Shopping Centers and Strip Malls, Through the Real Estate Associate Program (REAP).
